I'm going to start this with a confession: I've wanted a pair of Costa Del Mar sunglasses ever since I found out that many Florida Keys guides wear them. To a Jersey guy like me, the Keys are it. The guys who fish there know what they're doing.
Not that we don't up in the Northeast or anywhere else, but you know what I mean. It's one of those well-known proving grounds, and it has that Hemingway-esque, rugged aura thing happening.
And let's face it: Those guys fish all year long, they're on the water almost every day all year down there in that equatorial sun, and much of the time it's about seeing what you're fishing for – with your eyes, not electronics.
